"RoboForm2Go Is Not Portable"
Cons
I recently purchased a SanDisk Cruzer Micro U3 4GB USB Flash Drive with U3 Launchpad version 1, 4, 0, 2. I installed the latest RoboForm2Go from U3 Software Central while the flash drive was inserted in my computer at home. That computer is running WinXP Pro SP2, and the "My RoboForm Data" folder is located in the "Documents" folder of the O drive. When I insert the flash drive in my computer at work, also running WinXP Pro SP2, the drive letter to the folder is K. I cannot run RoboForm2Go on my computer at work. The version of RoboForm2Go is 6.9.3. When I contacted the support staff, I was told "I cannot help you with your problem because I am unable to view the status of a Free Version of RoboForm." As a programmer of 25 years, the response makes no sense to me. If I were a programmer of the software, I'd have a pretty good idea why such a problem might occur.
