"Pretty Good Replacement for Window Washer"
Pros
Price is very (very!) right. Easy install on all three of my PCs.
Cons
It will wipe free space (eventually, on my TB and near-TB drives) OK. It will flush out - I guess - stuff put in the Recycle Bin(s). But it won't do a file delete with a cleaning....you must first place the file in the Recycle Bin.
Summary
I decided that WW was finally history - it worked OK for me for a few years (through Win98 and into Win XP). I didn't do Vista, and when I went to Win7, I found only recently that WW is back (with a pretty buggy upgrade, judging by user comments) and Webroot is now charging by the year(!), and by the PC(!) for their program. So I went to CCleaner, and the ONLY thing I see wrong is that on the file right-click to "Delete", I really miss WW's addition to the right-click box that allowed "Delete with Bleach" so you never had to worry about the Recycle Bin getting filled with trash. If CCleaner had this feature it would be a 5-Star. (That's a feature suggestion.)
