  Summary

  My computer developed a major problem that many system restores was not fixing. The problem was an error code starting up Sony Vegas 8 Pro the rendered the program inoperable. Since Vegas is a $500 program and I had some pretty heavy-duty editing I was in the middle of, needless to say I was incredibly frustrated. I did the usual google search of the error code and found it was a registry problem. I searched fixes and kept getting pay programs that found a zillion errors but in order to fix wanted $30. I was willing to pay but I've paid for plenty of stuff that ultimately didn't work. So instead I searched CNET and found GLARY REGISTRY REPAIR as a free download. After installing and doing a scan it found and repaired some 500+ registry problems. Sceptical I powered down and reinstalled Sony Vegas (which I'd done about 15 times before). This time my computer started up faster. Then I started up Sony Vegas, which not only started but also opened faster as well! So, in summary it not only worked for me but it worked when others didn't! Furthermore my computer is running smoother (I'm on it all the time and there is a difference). After a full day of frustration GLARY REG REPAIR made my day and got my computer running better than it did before. And for free... Go figure! That's why it gets and deserves 5 stars.
