  "Infected With Trojan!!!"

  Pros

  Very possibly good bait to infect machines with and screw them up or take them over.

  Cons

  I downloaded one of their products called Fresh Download 7.74 and Kaspersky Anti-virus warned me right off there was a generic trojan in the file on installing it. I also scanned it at virustotal.com and it listed it as clean. This means the infection doesn't show up till install and is hidden from anti-virus till then. My machine can't be infected as I use Deep Freeze and any infection is gone after rebooting so it can't be affected.

  Don't download or use any of their products without scanning them first unless you don't care about screwing your machine up or having it taken over. As for myself I don't want any of their garbage regardless.

  The english on the software after installing is also misspelled and shows low quality work. Another warning sign as good quality software usually has better spelling in it as they care about the product that is put out. Use it at your own risk or recklessness. You got your warning!

  I used another of their products and free Spyware 2006 and despite having quality antivirus, spyware, etc. programs running on my computer when I removed one of the trojans ID'd by their product it took my OS with it! Had I known what you explained here I would not have lost a lot of work-so thanks for the GREAT review. What I don't understand is why CNET doesn't speak to this issue??, I'm hoping there is good reason behind this lack educating us novices. THANKS, pooka
