  Pros

  Downloads youtube videos in exactly the way you would want.
  Neat touches like the hover-over clipboard paste.

  Cons

  Upgrade installs browser toolbar without permission.
  When the toolbar is deleted it is reinstalled quietly ie no permission and no indication that it is happening
  
  Browser default search engine changed to Yahoo!
  Again, any attempts to reinstate desired settings are overridden without permission or indication.
  Even deleting any references to Yahoo! from the the browser configs are reinstalled and overridden when the browser restarts.
  
  User interface has some minor niggles.

  Summary

  The mark of good software is that you rarely think of it. Regretfully I am thinking about this all the time as it repeatedly alters browser settings and addons/extensions without permission or indication.
  
  I really resent this. There is absolutely no call for a program to alter unrelated software in any way. Further any attempts to reinstate previous settings are overridden again with the next boot. I leave you to decide on the rectitude of this approach.
  
  Please be clear, I do not have a problem with products explaining the use of toolbars and providing a clear option but that has not happened here.
  
  The irony is that I was set to upgrade to the pro version having found myself using it more often recently, somewhat unlikely now.
  
  I notice from these reviews that there may be some hacks that could get round this but given the dishonest way that it operates I am not 100% sure that this will remove it completely. If it fails I shall be uninstalling (keeping my fingers crossed that the uninstaller does what it claims). Either way, rectifying this should not be down to a hack.
  
  This is a real shame because otherwise it is a friendly program with some neat touches. Indeed it would otherwise be my prefered option.
  
  Other than the headline issue, my one minor niggle is with the GUI where the user needs to tab between screens to start downloads, ie too many clicks to access the main purpose of the tool.
  
  Without the trojan, four stars.
  With one click download, five stars.
  With the trojan one star.
  
  I am SO disappointed in the use of this trojan.

  I Really appreciate your warning, I had the exact thing happen when I started a Kingston 8 gb memory stick, it is very nasty and I had to do a lot of scrambling I think I had to go back to earlier time recorded,,,,
