"Great application (after losing Quicken 2007 on my Mac)"
Pros
I also tried out iBank and compared them side by side for a month. iBank does not work with Vanguard accounts - cannot download information and iBank gives me incorrect totals of my investment accounts at Vanguard. All it can do is make a copy of the online statement. SEE Finance works with Vanguard and all you have to do to get the value of your investments is tell it to download prices for your mutual funds, and you have it in one second flat! The registers are different to get used to than Quicken for Mac 2007, but at least it does things correctly!
Cons
It does not chart a line graph of the prices of each mutual fund like Quicken for Mac 2007 does and I miss that. I will have to learn to do that on an Excel spreadsheet, I guess.
Summary
The SEE Finance program does do a lot well; it is new and still being worked on by the developers. Not yet up to version 1.0 but has a lot going for it. You can download it and try it out for a while before buying it, and then pay for it if you like it. Very nice! Compared to using iBank, SEE Finance is the one I will keep and have paid for.
