With Google Earth, you have a 3D picture of the friggin' globe! You can zoom in far enough too see your own house! You can turn off/on information like symbols displaying ATM's, Diners, Golf areas and so on. Known cities like Las Vegas have a lot of this information. If you turn on 3D buildings, you see buildings like the Luxor in 3D! Great to see the higher buildings, etc. This is Google in a world scale! In the future, there'll probably be enough info to plan your sightseeing tour in Paris, or find the quickest way from your school in Oslo, Norway to Sweden! It's like the ultimate 3D map! This is one of a kind!

If you actually want any info, you might get disappointed. In Las Vegas and New York and other big american cities are filled with info, but others are often "empty".
