"Fixed problem in my Admin account"
Summary
This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.
One one machine I did an 'upgrade install', and the account with administrator privileges wasn't working correctly. The Finder wasn't loading correctly, but I could get the Terminal app and System Preferences to launch. I was able to run Software Update, and after X.5.1 loaded, the system rebooted and fixed whatever that problem was. Now Finder launches just fine, and overall Leopard boots much faster than Tiger.
I'm still not 100% convinced by some of the changes in Leopard, but overall this update gets high marks for somehow fixing the problem I had earlier.
Still, I can't say I'd recommend a 'upgrade' install; 'Archive-and-install' is a lot safer.
