    "Beware SlimDrivers"

    December 21, 2012  |   By fbloss

    Convenient, easy interface

I have had 2 instances now where SlimDrivers applied bad or incorrect driver updates to computers. The latest, last week, corrupted my disk drive drivers to the point my laptop became a brick. Finally, using Linux recovery methods & bare-bones Windows recovery rerun persistently, I was able to eradicate the bad driver but, alas, at the price of having to completely reload Windows and all my software.

Usually a good product but there is the occasional misstep. Use with extreme caution and be ready for recovery prior to updating with it.
