"Keeps crashing every time I run it!"

    October 15, 2012  |   By kstenbch

It's free and when it works it does great.

It only updates software that you downloaded from CNET in the first place. Every time I run it now, it crashes. I've reinstalled several times. Too much crapware comes with updates.

It used to work great. I haven't been able to use it in months. I wish CNET would fix it. Who's in charge at CNET because they need to wake up before they lose all of their customers! When your stuff doesn't work or is loaded down with crapware, or you're just plain wrong all the time, people leave and go find someone else. I also use File Hippo Updater and Slimware, but I miss CNET Tech Tracker. Each picks up stuff the others miss, and Slimware only does drivers.
