BuggySummary
Installed it on my 2009 15"mbp. Everything went slower!
Strange how things work out...
Bootup times doubled, animations were buggy. I couldn't fix it. Also I didn't like that i can only slide upwards for mission control (used to sliding down) and reposition my hand to make the 3 finger+thumb pinch to get to see the desktop (used to sliding up). Why? Give me the choice please.
And to get Snow Leopard back i had to erase the disk and restore from time machine. But everything is smooth again, finally.....

Since I bought the late 2011 15" mbp, my opinion changed quite a bit.
I still think Lion is slower than Snow Leopard on older systems, but on my new machine it is blazing fast.
Solved my 3 finger + thumb 'problem' by just placing 4 fingers on the trackpad and spreading.
Love the natural scrolling.
And because of all the added functionality I never really think about Snow Leopard again.
