Up to this point, I really liked the program for its effectiveness at cleaning the junk out of my pc...

Now I think its practically useless because of this new problem.

It now keeps hanging at 30% during the cleaning process on a temporary file known as:

    [ C:\Users\(my-name)\AppData\Local\Temp\F04E49AE-44C3-445C-83F3-FA1D7A2289DB\WimProvider.dll ]

I waited more than two hours and it was still on this same file. This is not the first time I've encountered this problem even after a fresh install of my OS.

When I attempted to stop the program my windows explorer crashed. I couldn't even open Task-manager because of it. I had to manually shut down my pc and reboot. This is very troubling because my pc is new and so is my OS (Windows 7 Ultimate, SP1).

Obviously something isn't quite right. A program shouldn't take that long to clean a temporary file, especially when, the first time I encountered this problem I cancelled the scan and ran Windows Disk Cleaner instead and it took nearly seconds to complete.

You can try running this in safe mode and it should work. Your other option is to go to options > Advanced and tick the second option " Only delete files in Windows Temp folders older than 24 hours" so it has the green check mark beside it and then run the program. The WimProvider DLL is in use and causing the problem. If I remember correctly, this file disappears on reboot and reappears when it is needed. ( Sorry can't test at the moment because I am on my Win XP desktop while my Win 7 laptop is at a friends house and its 6 AM )

Try running it in safe mode to see if itll complete. Also you can shutdown your antivirus and let the program complete the scan.
