    "Ok, but WIndirstat is better"

    September 20, 2011  |   By jjacobus

    Three levels works well.

It takes too much time to scan and since this is a program you only use occassionally, the different levels aren't that useful.

    Try windirstat instead.

You are comparing apples and oranges. Windirstat is a *file management* program. DiskMax is a *maintenance and optimization* program. And there are 4 levels of scan, not 3. The different levels are precisely there to balance the time taken and the thoroughness of the scan. It doesn't really seem like you grasped why DiskMax is designed the way it is.
