    "Excellent as used to be."

    Summary

This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.
"You can now run the offline algorithms without needing to create a boot disk; iDefrag can now reboot into a special mode where it has exclusive access to the disk."

I think this is the most useful improvement of iDefrag 2. I've never used a boot DVD to defrag my main hard drive because the booting process is so slow. I used to boot off a external cloned USB hard drive. USB was also slow. Now, I can boot very fast with iDefrag's special mode. Thanks to the developers.

I noticed that also the defragment process is faster than v1.x.
