    "Problems with upgrade?"

    February 20, 2011  |   By superman41

    Pros

So far I have found none that I like.

    Cons

    A lot of unwanted problems

    Summary

Since installing this upgrade, I have had problems with other applications when running a Full Scan, it cuts them all off, I noticed this when I was playing wow, it closed the game, it has also casused me problems with my emails trying to use both at the same time does not work, To get a full Scan, I can only do this if I close all other programes?

I have contacted Norton simply because in all the years that I have used their products, I have never known them give a FREE upgrade, maybe they are having problems and have decided to let us do their work for them in the feedback, I for one say, if this is so, it is a dirty trick to play on their long standing customers. Norton told me that mu upgrade must have been corrupt, if it was, it was before it entered my PC, this means that they are not scaning their stuff as well as they should do??

You must be doing something wrong or not keeping the junk files clean in your system. Try using Disk Cleanup and Defragmenter. I play WOW using NIS 2011 all the time, while using other programs and checking my email while surfing the web, and don't have any problems. So the problem must be in your system. Sounds like you need to have it cleaned of all the trash files. I personally have used NIS for about 6 years and this is the fastest version yet. It's not a resource hog, like alot of the previous versions. I am a gamer and like to keep my system fast. But, I also like to keep my system secure. You may be configuring the firewall incorrectly. I am not trying to criticize you, I am just trying to help. I do recommend NIS 2011 as a superb security program to anyone who truly wants thier information secure. I hope this helps everyone who reads it. Thanks for your time and have a great day!!!
