"making labels from a data base is impossibly difficult"

    October 20, 2012  |   By colvance

    Pros

    Comparable to Microsoft Office

    Cons

I downloaded ooo hoping it would be easier to make labels from a database than Microsoft Word. However that is not the case and when I go to your quorum I find everyone else is having the same problem. Why can't this operation be developed to compare with the earlier versions of Microsoft Office which was the easiest system for making these labels.

    Summary

debating whether to keep ooo since the one thing I wanted from it, which was different from Microsoft ie: making labels from a data base, is too difficult.
I finally ended up downloading the wizard from Avery.
