"Works great if intalled as part of K-lite codec pack."

    April 9, 2012  |   By janitorman

No flashy skins, no confusing interface (classic menu bar with all options you want including adding favorites,) and plays about anything you want. Doesn't hijack your system like some players.

If installed independantly be sure to install all options and update your system to MPCHC's recommended software. Also some peoples systems apparently block this software. It's NOT MPC's fault.

Been using this for years, since it was the even simpler MPC (not home cinema)Currently using portable with no need to update. Works great on my XP and Windows 2000 systems. No need to have Windows 7!!
