"Crazy install process. I cancelled midway."

    November 28, 2006  |   By aces1202

    Cons

Download process wacky. First, you downloand a zip file, when you execute the setup file, it starts going, but then it automatically starts intalling framework.NET. The process was dragging on and I got nervous and cancelled midway. Now I have garbage in my registry for nothing. I don't know if the program is any good or not.

I'm sorry you had issues while installing our software. The .Net Framework is a Microsoft Development Environment that is freely available on Microsofts website or via Automatic Update. The .Net Framework comes pre-installed on Vista as 3.0 and 1.1 on XP SP2. 2.0 is an update to the 1.1 version of the framework. The Picture Resizer Pro does not install anything into the registry so your computer will not be affected by our program. 2.0 Framework on the other hand more than likely does add things to your registry. More and more applications are being developed using the .Net framework so don't be afraid to install it.
