    "Versio 4.2 Good OCR, however spyware !?"

    Pros

    Nice software,nice interface. Freeware. Good OCR.

    Cons

    Super Anti Spyware identified file updater.exe as a Trojan-Agent Gen-MSfake...
    When you start FreeOcr the software is contacting the Amazon site.
    I wonder why.
    On the site the 'spyware free' indication is referring to the previous version...

    Summary

    Good OCR, no possibility to contact the author.
    I removed it from my PC.
