"Uses less disk space and runs faster than Adobe reader"
Pros
Very small footprint on your system (10MB for Foxit, 210MB for Adobe), loads quicker without need for autostart programs, scans for malware.
Cons
Keeps nagging to load updates that are paid for.
Summary
I am recommending this reader to all my clients (I am an IT consultant) as it does not have the security holes that are being exploited in Adobe Reader (I know Adobe supposedly patched them recently, but they said that once before and in fact they hadn't patched the JavaScript vulnerability).
I also like the safe reading mode that blocks any malware automatically and also like the fact that this is a lean mean application. I wish all US based software vendors, Microsoft included, would look to de-bloat their software rather than putting yet more features in that nobody uses. I would rather upgrade to software that runs faster and makes the things it already had easier to use.
Only add a feature if it really is of benefit, and if it's something that only a minority of users want, make it an option in the setup program and leave it out in a default install.
Foxit is the lean mean version of Adobe Reader, why do you need 210MB of application plus an annoying autostart program that sucks up your PCs resources whether you are going to use Adobe Reader today or not!?
Get rid of Adobe Reader and put this on, it is way better for your PC. Perhaps if a lot of us do, Adobe will de-bloat its reader and produce something that can compete with this.

Couldn't have said it better (although C-Net is asking me to since I recently downloaded it again lol)...
