"Great - with a tweak"
Pros
Comodo offers a free lifetime license. Can't beat that. The user interface is easy to work with. The firewall appears to be resource-friendly--doesn't bog down my PC.
I liked how the install comes with a long list of pre-approved programs; so, you don't have to spend days teaching Comodo firewall what programs are and are not allowed to use your Internet connection. I'm also impressed with the list of other free programs that are offered at the Comodo Group web site.
Cons
The only thing I didn't like is that, by default, two programs STARTUP when your computer system boots. One program is the firewall itself. The other is a program called Comodo Launch Pad.
I used a free registry tweaker to prevent the Comodo Launch Pad from automatically starting up when my PC boots up. The firewall itself, of course, still boots up automatically on startup.
