    "The Simplest Web Server"

    April 6, 2007  |   By jmcglynn

No need to alter sensitive system settings.

No need to add more memory for it (when I tried it, it only took 2MB on a system with 4GB).

It can be configured to start up manually, at user logon, or as a 'system service' at machine startup.

Easily expandable with other popular web language plug-ins like PHP, ASP.NET etc..

Easily detectable on other locally connected computers.

All these powerful features for FREE!

The software-assigned web address cannot be detected by outsiders (unlike the X2 counterpart).

Your "cons" is not true. Both X1 and X2 can be "detected" by outsiders.

All you need to have your server reachable by outsiders is to configure your network (router+firewall) to correctly forward connections to it.

Everything is explained in detail in an article in the support page on Aprelium's Web site.
