Join the conversation! Add your comment- Would like to eventually see a comparison of Security suites for the Mac. I myself run Sophos and it has caught some malware (mostly Windows) stuff that made it on to the Mac but poses no harm to a Mac. Question is how effective is it at stopping real Mac targeted malware. I have read some people complain that Sophos did not find the Flashback varient. I guess this is a relatively new thing for Mac users to run a Anti Virus program. I have run any computer with Anti Virus for a couple years now. Question I have is weather I have a false sense of security with Mac Anti Virus?
