Well, I've tried and I'm not really impressed truth-be-told. I much prefer Spherical XP (http://www.spheresite.com/) even though that is a little buggy and I' don't think there's been any development in awhile.

I tried downloading some of their 360s and wasn't able to get them to stick, they don't show up in my 360 Manager, I also added some widgets. The next time I rebooted my system they were gone. There is no way for you to change or even see the default install path for either of these.

I submitted a support case about these and haven't hear back on it yet.

Sphere XP gives you a true 360 environment. It converts your desktop into a sphere with you in the middle and also add depth to your desktop so you can be surrounded by different open window. You also have the ability to make those windows active so they will dynamically update. My main complaint is that it cuts off the icon labels on your desktop and there is no way to permanently rearrange your icons, they alway go back to the arrangement at the time of install. Also the program tends to stack icons on top of each other, then you separate them and restart and they are all jumbled up again.

If they could fix those little bugs and then come up with a way to allow you to set up windows/widgets/programs to load on startup, Sphere XP would rock.

For file browsing I like Tactile 3d (http://www.tactile3d.com/). It lets you almost literally 'fly' through your file structure. Very FPS. I really like it and some of the skins you get when you buy the program are sweet. Again the main drawback is a lack of recent development. Another drawback for me is the lack of ability to browse the network. I'm the IT Manager for a small company and it would be nice to browse through the files on my network without having to map them first. But it is, I think, a very nice graphical file browser.

I can run both Spherical XP and Tactile 3d at the same time, with no serious slow down.

Sounds interesting, but I think I'll pass for now. I'm not sure I want to complicate my
life more than it is right now .Too new at this game. I don't even know what
widgets are. Maybe when I find those 600 plus songs that I downloaded from LimeWire, which one day disappeared and haven't been able to locate. I had to start another playlist. If only someone could help me with that problem.

Hi, just to let you know, after i installed this program i looked at the help file. You say that the windows+arrow keys did not work for you, you use the windows and the period/comma keys...
