- I could not agree more Mac users have created their own culture and its become more of a way of life rather than anything else. I have never met a mac user that is not preachy about there Mac and how horrible PC's are. Being an avid PC user i will give credit where credit is due, Macs are good for editing music and video but mac users do nothing but bash PC's and believe that every one should switch to a Mac. Just look at their advertisements on TV the immaturity goes all the way up to corporate advertising. At this point in time there is no major thing that separates Macs and PC's by a long shot. They say mac's are easier to use but i disagree with that people seem to have more trouble figuring out a Macs in my experience than PC's. I just cant stand mac users not apple itself.

- Macworld isn't a trend. It's what CES to consumers. It's what GenCon is to gaming. It's what ComicCon is to comic lovers.

(4 Comments)It seems like it has become some kind of a trend. It's pretty
much like "I've got a Mac because I wanna be part of this new
cultural tendency going on, but my workhorse PC has got Windows
installed".
Well, let's see how long it lasts.
Rockhead - Franklin Square - NY
i switched to mac cos my video was rendered smoothly with 1GB of RAM and my PC can't even run Windows Vista home premium properly with 2GB of RAM
i live in a Windows environment and got told many times about how bad Macs are, you know
we're all like kids, we fight for what we like
Macs bash PCs and PCs bash Macs
if you have been using PC for a long time, of course you're gonna find using a new OS (Mac) difficult
give both to kids who have totally no experience in computing then we'll see
btw,
why are you PC users reading a Mac post?
The point is. EVERYONE has a show of some sort they like.
Oh... and BTW... if you want to see who's starting to show market dominance, look up AAPL on the stockmarket and then lookup MSFT. Go ahead and look at all major PC brands too if you wish. AAPL stock is one of the most high priced stocks in the technology market.
