Comments on: Power Downloader finds a better way to manage files

Moving files around in Windows Explorer is not always convenient. Fortunately, Power Downloader has found a program to make file management a snap.

a broken download link?

I really want to try out Xplorer2 Lite, but the Download Now link leads me to a page that says I'm being re-directed to a third party. And then doesn't. (Looks like a case for Power to investigate!)

Thank you, Power Downloader, for endorsing my years-long love affair with xplorer2 (pronounced "xplorer squared," but I can't superscript the "2" here). You have barely scratched the surface of this file manager's capabilities. I scratch the surface a bit more deeply in my review in my blog on free and cheap utilities, Jonathan's Tool Bar & Grill (http://jonathanstoolbar.blogspot.com) #5, 25 October 2006.

I have compared this program to many others, some of which are quite good, but always return to xplorer2. But great as the free xplorer2lite is, the full version is the ultimate file management tool and well worth the upgrade.

You can download a trial version of xplorer2 (21 days) at http://www.zabkat.com; if you want to go straight to xplorer2 lite, click the "Learn about the free 'lite' version" link toward the bottom of the page.

Thank you, Power, for your many helpful reviews.

Both links above are messed up. Here are the correct ones:

To read more, go to http:www.zabkat.com

To download the lite version, go to http://www.zabkat.com/x2lite.htm

And ... Thanks Mr. PowerD, for all the great reviews (and the software linx!)

Skippy
