The editor of this CNET seems to be rather new to the world of business software. His conviction that WORD is without comparison must come from ignorance in his word processing experience. All you Microsoft people get ready now! Word currently and always has emulated WordPerfect. I have used both for several years (my experience with PC's in the work place extends back to 1982!) WordPerfect has always run circles around Word. It does more, it does it with fewer key strokes and takes up less of your hard drive. These are all important considerations with any software. Try it, the legal profession cannot be all wrong, just mostly wrong about everything else!

You claim to know a lot about the business world and blah, blah, blah, but if you actually read what is on the page, you'll find absolutely nothing that warrants your response. The comment section is supposed to be for your opinion on the product, which you have failed to use for such purpose. I'd suggest that your future comments be limited to whatever product you are commenting about.; Like this

Free but it will put ugly watermark "Made with Print2PDF free version..." on the bottom of each page. PDFCreator is free, without watermak, and produce smaller size PDF file.

"Users can encrypt, watermark, or sign a document, and can configure user permissions to print, copy, or change the file."

If it allows you to add a watermark, then there must be an option to NOT add a watermark. I'd suggest exploring all the product's options, settings, preferences, etc. in detail to make sure there is or isn't the option to add or not add a watermark to documents. Another idea would be to go to the publisher's website and check their FAQs or ask in their forum what you want to know, if they have a forum.; Like this

FYI, I read the article and test the software (in VM). Do you test it yourself? When I'm talking about watermark, is not user defined watermark. It's watermark that imposed by that software. And the only way to remove it is to buy the full software.
So it's not a freeware. It's a nagware IMO.; Like this
