Every time I drag the 15 second copy to ringtones, it says its the whole song. I am doing everything the video is saying, not sure what the problem is.

I had this same issue. When you go to delete the duplicate file you made, click Remove but then say KEEP FILE instead of MOVE TO TRASH. If you do this, it should continue to recognize the time constraints you placed on the song.

Great video, but for some reason, I don't have a "ringtones" tab in my library tab. Thoughts?

All my audio files are AAC. I duplicate a song into a new playlist to make the 30 second version. I then drag and rename it on my desktop. When I open it back up in itunes it does not recognise the 30 second command and I cannot go in an change it. All the boxes are ticked but the song plays in it's entirity. Can someone please let me know what I am doing wrong as it just does not work. I am using a PC and running Vista if this makes any difference. Thx

What about those of us that are not lucky enough to have an iPhone? Will this work with any cell phone?

Hi I have followed the video and it all works... (as in I can get the the song to become a ringtone) I am just having one problem, when I save the time (15sec) the song always comes up as 0 sec, so obviously wont play....How can I stop this, and make the song stay as the 15 secs! Does anyone know why this would be happening? Thank you =)
