if you get your gmail sent to your blackberry already and you add the gmail APP you're just gonna get two notifications about 10 minutes apart... it's extremely annoying and I'm deleting Gmail APP from my phone as we speak.... The BB notification is almost instant so why do I need Gmail APP again??

Totally agreed. I've found both gmail's mobile service and Yahoo's Apps for Blackberry extremely annoying. Not only they eat up tons of my memory and slow my phone down dramatically, also they are not as instant as blackberry in receiving emails. So exactly the same question: why bother if you already have gmail or Yahoo mail delivered to your phone?

Personally, I like the Gmail App over the blackberry app for Gmail, although I admit it does have it's deficits. The gmail app is good for letting me manage my gmail account... starring important items, archiving mail and my access to my contacts. Where it lacks is its support by the blackberry device. For instance, if I click on a link in the browser, I can't compose the message in the Gmail App. But then, I get duplicate messages if I send from my blackberry on gmail's service.

I like the blackberry email support for other services, but until there's a way to archive or star messages or sync my gmail address book with my blackberry, I'll keep using the gmail app!

Its a good news for BB users. In fact RIM always tries to give some new and nice functionality to its users. These are the reasons why BB handsets and <a href="http://www.fommy.co.uk/blackberry-accessories.htm">Blackberry accessories</a> are in demand. You can visit http://www.fommy.co.uk/blackberry-accessories.htm for more BB accessories. However at present customers are complaining about mailing function whether it is from yahoo or gmail but I hope RIM will resolve it very soon.

The tmobile G1 has been unlocked, this will allow you to use a SIM card from any network, in any country. Hey guys FYI, T-mobile will unlock any phone for you for free if you are in good standing with the company, so don?t shell out the cash to get that iphone unlocked just call T-mobile.
