Comments on: iPhone apps of the week: Poker edition

This weeks collection of iPhone apps is all about playing Poker. Though there are a number of titles available at the iTunes App Store, I selected three different ways of getting your Poker fix.

I agree, with the first one, it's a great game. But you forgot to mention Multiplayer Championship Poker. Granted it's graphics are awful, but it's the first true multiplayer poker game with at least 60 people online at any time it's well worth the money.

The Apple app is a power hog and drains your battery so quickly that you find yourself having to recharge after playing only a short while.

Why do iphone apps rank as a story? There are several palm or wm apps that are much better. CNET..quit being biased..

A lot of people care. If you don't care, don't bother reading and commenting. I don't have an iPhone, but I have an iPod Touch and I, along with the other millions of people with iPhones and iPod Touchs, do care.

My favorite is Apple's Texas Hold 'em. I do wish that it would support other types of poker like 7 card stud, but it's still my favorite.

Texas Hold 'em is a decent game with great graphics, but the playing styles aren't realistic at all. All the players are reckless. You just have to keep folding until you get a great pocket pair. Let the players knock each other out with their wild bets and you'll finish in the money a lot of the time. I won more than $14 million before I just got bored.

Why does this site keep filling the windows section with iphone and Mac apps? Not everyone wants to spend all their time jacking off to apple

If you like poker apps, checkout Find The Nuts: Texas Holdem Trainer. Good app.
