VIP Rumor RSS Reader review

Keep up to date on all the celebrity gossip and more with this convenient tool.

VIP Rumor RSS Reader collects celebrity gossip from all of your favorite blogs and news sites, and gathers it in one place for you. You'll have no trouble keeping up with the goings on in the celebrity world when you use this app, and you'll never have to sort through tons of different sites to find the information you're looking for again.

The interface for VIP Rumor is not terribly attractive or intuitive, but it gets the job done. On the left-hand side, you'll find a list of some preloaded sites that frequently feature celebrity gossip stories including Viprumor.com, D*ana's Dirt, Defamer, Jossip, msnbc.com: Celebrity News, NY Post: Gossip, and The Superficial - Because You're Ugly. You can add your own favorites, or remove items by right-clicking on the list and selecting "Add" or "Delete." When you select add, a window pops up for you to type or paste a URL into. The right side of the screen is broken into two parts, with the top window containing a list of all of the recent articles from the source selected in the left-hand column. In the bottom window, you'll find the story, itself, and you can scroll through to read the whole thing.

There are sometimes ads that pop up to cover part of the actual story window, but you can collapse them at any time. This app provides all of the promised features, and it's a great way to stay on top of whatever types of stories you like to read online.
