Review: Quick Note for Mac syncs notes automatically between your Mac and iPhone

Type a quick note on your Mac and it's instantly on your iPhone, too, with this convenient app.

Quick Note for Mac lets you type a note on your Mac that will almost instantly appear on your iPhone or vice versa. This is a very convenient piece of software that does just what it promises. It syncs your devices automatically through iCloud, so you don't even have to create a new account or log in to the app. As long as both your iPhone and Mac are logged in to the same Apple account, you're ready to share notes.

When you install Quick Note, it opens a small window and you can immediately start typing. This is a very streamlined app, but there are many fonts available and you can adjust the alignment of the text you are writing. There are also spelling and grammar checks, as well as a dictation feature if you prefer to enter information that way; and it is quite accurate, even in the presence of moderate background noise.

The client application for the Mac is free, but the iPhone app is $1.99, which is a reasonable price for this effective and very convenient software. This is a very straightforward tool, but it could be useful for a variety of tasks and in many different circumstances. For the small purchase price, this app is definitely worth a try.
