Review: iPubsoft YouTube Video Downloader for Mac lets you download videos in a snap

Find and download YouTube videos and enjoy them even when you're offline with this useful app.

iPubsoft YouTube Video Downloader for Mac offers you a quick and easy way of downloading YouTube videos to your local hard drive. While it does its job well, it could certainly benefit from deeper OS X integration. Still, it's worth trying out.

The first thing you will notice when launching iPubsoft YouTube Video Downloader for Mac is its appearance, which does not follow the OS X design language. The app has more of a Windows feel to it. In spite of this, however, the interface is pleasant enough and accessible, featuring only a handful of buttons. Downloading videos is straightforward; once the app verifies the link you provide, it gives you a list of all available video formats and resolutions in a handy drop-down menu. In addition, you can also right-click on the desired video and choose the download option. The download process will vary with your network speed, but we managed to grab a 10MB high definition video in just over five seconds. A thing to note is that deleting the download entry from the app will not delete the actual file from the hard drive.

iPubsoft YouTube Video Downloader for Mac delivers on its promises and makes it easy for you to grab YouTube videos. Its intuitive interface and overall snappy feel recommend it to all users.
