100 Pics allows you to plug multiple photos into frames and save them to share with friends. It's a relatively basic photo editing tool and there were a handful of performance issues in our tests; but for straightforward functions like framing your photos and saving them for sharing, it works well enough.
After installing 100 Pics and opening it for the first time, you can select one of numerous frame options. The frames are separated into different aspect ratios and then different layouts, so there are quite a few options, which is nice for a free app. You can then change the rounding of each photo and the border between photos before making some small styling changes or coloring changes to the background. Photo editing options are limited in the app, and we experienced a couple of crashes in loading the app and transitioning between menus, but not frequently enough to make it unusable. We did need to navigate past multiple ad screens, sometimes one on top of the other, which was frustrating at times. Still, the rendering is fast and images are saved directly to the local library of your phone, making it a functional free app.
100 Pics gets the job done as advertised but with a few hiccups along the way. The app is free, but does have an upgrade option, and despite some issues, it covers most of the basic collage creation options fairly well.
