Review: Add cute touches to messages with TextCutie

Cutify your Android messages with this adorable app!

Leko's TextCutie adds adorable cuteness to your Android text messages. This free app lets you customize messages with backgrounds, fonts, and effects that are easy to apply, and it works with practically any social media or messaging app, including Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, Pinterest, Twitter, and Tumblr. Regular new releases include themes for holiday greetings. TextCutie 1.6.1 runs on most Android devices (2.2 and up) and is supported by ads.

TextCutie opened with a lace-trimmed pink text field above buttons labeled "Cutify" and "Store" and a four-leaf clover we could tap to randomize the display. We tapped "Cutify" to access a wide variety of Themes, Fonts, Colors, and Layouts. Under Themes, we could choose from cute and funny backgrounds or use the Custom option to create our own using our gallery or directly from our camera. Under Layout, we could turn shadows on and off, set text size with a slider and other settings. Tapping and holding the text field opened the text editor and keyboard and let us add emoji faces and other symbols. Then send...that's all there is to it!

Text Cutie has plenty of options to start customizing messages with, but you can tap "Store" to buy additional cuteness at reasonable rates. TextCutie adds smile-provoking power to your otherwise drab messages!
