Review: PUZZLE PRISM LITE innovated on classic 3D, falling puzzle games

Solve fun, three-dimensional puzzles with this well-made and entertaining, block-based puzzle game.

Offering a twist on classic 3D, falling puzzle games, PUZZLE PRISM LITE is sure to provide an enjoyable gaming experience. It looks good, plays smoothly, and has enough levels to be challenging. It's a premium game, though -- the free version offers only one game mode.

PUZZLE PRISM LITE comes with good graphics and tolerable music. You can alter the sound and keypad options, as well as link to social media platforms such as Facebook and Twitter. After you press the "Start" button, you are taken to a game selection screen, but only the "Time attack" mode is available for the free version. To unlock the other game modes, as well as get access to the global leaderboard, you have to upgrade to the paid version. The dark background of the game window is slightly difficult on the eyes, but you forget about it once you start playing. The gameplay is straightforward. A tower of 3D pieces spins, and at the top sits a new piece, which you must place on the tower. By doing this you create flat spaces and lower the tower. The game ends if you let the tower reach the top or if you run out of time. The animations and gameplay are nice, making this game quite fun and addictive.

Fun and replayable, PUZZLE PRISM LITE looks like one of the better puzzle games available for Android. It's definitely a good addition to your gaming collection. However, to fully enjoy it, you'll have to buy the premium version.
