Review: LabiSync effortlessly syncs your phone or tablet's data

Sync your contacts, messages, and calls so you can put them on any other phone or tablet you own.

LabiSync is easy-to-use syncing software, but it might take a while to back up your information the first time you use it depending on how much data you have on your mobile device. However, once you've used the program once, things get much faster. That, mixed with how much the program does for you without needing any user input, makes this app a cool option for anyone who wants their contacts and calls on multiple phones.

LabiSync syncs your contacts, calls, texts, and photos to an online account so you can retrieve them on any device with the app installed. The app gives you a free plan that is a little restrictive (500 contacts and 300 messages/500 calls a month) but you can upgrade to get unlimited storage for contacts and 50GB of photo uploads, which shouldn't be too difficult. When you first download LabiSync, it goes right to work, automatically synching your information to its servers without your lifting a finger. You can sync four devices in the free version, which should be enough for most. If you need more, the app offers plans that put you up to as many as 50 different gadgets. Another feature you'll like is a password lock, which enhances the overall security of your data. The first time we ran this app on our phone, it took almost 30 minutes to finish syncing. Most of that time was spent syncing 150 photos, though. While the speed isn't encouraging, it's not too bad, either, as this app is all about setting and forgetting, anyway.

If you can live with the free plan's storage limits or don't mind paying for backup, LabiSync is a nifty way to keep all of your information in one place. Since it does all of the work for you, it's easy to ignore the somewhat slower speed.
