Review: Accu-Chek 360 Diabetes Mgmt. provides a handy diabetes tracker

Track and manage your blood sugar levels with this handy logging application for your Android device.

Accu-Chek 360 Diabetes Mgmt. lets you take detailed notes about your blood sugar level, but it's more than just a logbook. It plots out your glucose levels in several different ways so you know exactly how you're doing, no matter how you want to look at it. It's certainly better than jotting down all of your numbers into a crowded spiral notebook!

Accu-Chek lets you easily record your blood glucose levels every time you take a reading. You can insert what you ate that day and any other variables that could have affected your reading and the app will record those, as well. Once you've inserted your numbers, the app will plot them out on a handy bar graph that compares them to your seven- and two-day averages. It also gives you an easy-to-understand three-day profile. It keeps track of all of your extra information in your logbook so you'll always know what caused any incredibly low or incredibly high readings. All of these figures are a delight to look at, thanks to the app's stylish, black menus and well-designed graphics. In addition, you can easily create reports and share them with your healthcare professional via e-mail, directly from the app. You can register the app online to do more with it on your computer, as well. The minimum display resolution required to use this app is 320 x 480 -- smaller screens are not supported, so keep that in mind if you have one.

Accu-Chek is one of the most detailed diabetes logbooks you can find online. If you have diabetes and can't remember to bring something with you to jot down your readings, this app provides a solid alternative. The stylish menus and online registration push this app over other diabetes helpers.
