Review: MemoryKeeper for Mac cleans and monitors your RAM

Clean your memory within seconds to give your computer a performance boost with this stylish app.

MemoryKeeper for Mac allows you to monitor your RAM resources and free up memory to improve the performance of your computer. With its easy-to-read graphs, accessible interface, and excellent functionality, this app is a must-have for geeks. You will find it especially useful if you often run into performance issues while running multiple apps.

MemoryKeeper downloads and installs quickly via the App Store, opening to a welcoming and stylish interface. As soon as you launch the app, you can see it in action. Your RAM is displayed in an easy-to-read graph showing the amount of freely available and allocated memory. If you're completely new to this type of application, you can check the quick five-slide graphical tutorial available via the main application window. Available here is also a large button that allows you to clean your Mac's memory manually, a task you can perform at any time. When we ran the manual cleanup on our MacBook Air with 4GB RAM from which 1.5GB was used, the application managed to clean 386.2MB and displayed the result in the main application window within seconds. In the application preferences we were also able to easily set the cleanup mode to either quick or full, as well as enable the Automatic cleanup mode and set the limit of free memory. When in this mode, the app ran silently in the background and we could quickly access it via our Menu Bar.

With its nice RAM monitoring and cleanup features, MemoryKeeper can really help you better understand how memory is used in your system, and, of course, increase your computer's performance. If you run resource-intensive apps often and your computer needs a performance boost, you should definitely try this app.
