Photo Frame Free looks like just another free photo framing and collage app, at first glance, but it stands out from that oversized pack with the number of frames, stickers, and options included for free. While the app offers very little new or exciting to the already very crowded list of apps with similar features, it does offer quite a few options within its feature set.
When you open Photo Frame Free you can select one of nearly 50 different frames for your photos. From there you can tap any frame to load an image to it from your photo library or you can take a new image. The app does slow down a bit because Aviary loads every time you choose a photo for editing. This takes a long time to load and can slow down the process for multi-image frames. From there, however, you have a few options, including changing sizes of the frame, moving images around, going back into the editing menu, and adding stickers or custom frames.
The net effect is that you can create a range of different options that look fairly good and everything is included free with the app -- no upgrades needed. While there are some pop-ups throughout the use of the app, generally Photo Frame Free is a very streamlined app that doesn't offer anything completely new but does offer quite a few ways to dress up your images.
