Review: InstaMagiCut creates framed photos that you can warp with a swipe

Snap, frame, and warp your photos on the fly with InstaMagiCut.

InstaMagiCut is a picture framing app with a twist -- allowing you to warp your photos by swiping and dragging your finger across the screen. The number of editing options is limited and the frames are often rather basic looking, but it goes above and beyond some other framing apps and it is still free like most competitors in this category.

When you open the app, you can choose a frame and then load an image from your photo library. Alternately, you can take a photo with your camera app and then load it into a frame of your choosing. After you have done so, the next step is to warp it by pulling and pushing with your finger. This is optional, of course, but it is a fun way to tweak your photos and make them your own, going beyond the basic framing options of the app. Saving and sharing uses the phone's built-in menu, and it works quickly and without hiccups, as well.

If you want to create framed photos with a twist to them, then InstaMagiCut Free may be an app worth checking out. There are no other editing tools here and no ways to adjust the frames or other options, but it goes a bit beyond the oftentimes bare-bones framing apps already out there, and it is free.
