Review: Card2You streamlines the creating and sending of custom cards on iOS

Create cards from photos and send them to contacts on your iPhone.

Card2You provides a number of fun features to create custom photo cards that can then be shared with friends and family across the country. The app is designed to turn any photo you take into a custom card, which can then be sent to someone using the in-app ordering system for a relatively affordable $1.99 per card. The setup, editing, and sending process isn't perfect, but works without any hiccups or slowdowns, making this a fun app for anyone on vacation.

When you first set up Card2You, you'll need to create an account. This allows you to both save your cards online and set up a payment system for when you send your cards. The card creation process is very streamlined, as well, allowing you to take or select photos from your library, load them into the app, and do some very basic edits (mostly cropping) before choosing how the card will look. You can then add as much text as will fit inside a standard photo card and move to the order screen where you will enter delivery details. All of this took us less than three minutes and there were no slowdowns along the way. It's not a perfect app and suffers from some interface issues, including floating menu bars, but it works as intended in almost every case, and the output looks very good.

Card2You is a good app, with many options for how to send your cards, a streamlined interface to make ordering fast and easy, and a decent price when the card is done and ready to send. If you want a more personalized touch when sending vacation postcards, this is a solid option.
