Review: Aogsoft Total Video Converter includes most of the essential features

Convert videos to a new format at lightning speed using Aogsoft Total Video Converter.

Aogsoft Total Video Converter includes all the features you want, but it could use some more high-end goodies to justify the price. It's relatively quick and doesn't slam your video with a watermark in the free version. That alone makes it worth trying, especially if you only need to convert a few quick videos.

This download lets you try before you buy, but you'll only be allowed to convert about three minutes of any video. If you want to do more, you'll have to pay $39.95 to upgrade to the full version. You don't have to pay a dime to get full speed from Aogsoft Total Video Converter, though. The program is faster than many other video-converting programs. It took only a few seconds to plow through a three-minute video. Videos come out looking just as good as they went in, but you might notice a little bit of fuzziness in the audio. The program converts to several different video formats, but it doesn't let you choose much about the output's resolution or other details. The program gives you the ability to clip video into smaller portions and offers a handy CPU monitor. Sadly, all that does is show you how much of a RAM hog the program can be. You can change that and even make the program work behind the scenes while you do other things.

All of the above mentioned features make Aogsoft Total Video Converter a nice download, but its price might be a bit too high for what it offers. You'll lose nothing by giving the trial version a go, and you may be lured in by its quick processing.

Editors' note: This is a review of the trial version of Aogsoft Total Video Converter 3.2.
