Review: Vienna provides easy access to various news feeds

Customize how you receive and read numerous articles and news feeds using Vienna for Mac.

Vienna for Mac keeps all of your favorite news feeds in one place by providing a feature-rich, open-source RSS and Atom newsreader for the Mac OS X operating system.

Vienna for Mac installs quickly and features a well-organized and easy-to-navigate interface. On the left menu there are three folders available for classifying articles as well as a list of available subscriptions. By default there are links to Vienna Support, Apple Hot News, Mac OS X Hints, BBC News, and similar, with the number of available news items. By clicking on one of these, a list of available articles appears in the main window. With a click on any news item, the story will be displayed in full, in the output window below. By default the text is large enough and easy to read, but the font type and size can be changed in the Preferences menu, which additionally offers more options for customization. Users can add a new source via the Plus button available on the main menu by entering the URL of the news feed or choosing from available options such as Blogspot, LiveJournal, etc. Additionally, users can also share what they are reading easily, via Facebook and Twitter.

Vienna for Mac offers an all-inclusive solution for those who love staying up-to-date with several news sources and like sharing articles through popular social media platforms.
