Review: Spell Checker for Android works well, but has its limits

Correct your spelling errors on-the-go with Spell Checker for Android.

Spell Checker for Android checks for spelling errors and helps you edit any text, but the free version of the app supports ads and comes with a character limit.

Since it's less than 1MB, Spell Checker for Android downloads quickly and installation is hassle free. The user interface is clean, well designed, and very intuitive. The app offers simple but effective features, including speech recognition. When the user clicks on the microphone, they can speak, and the device will translate the sound into text. The app is free but comes with a 180-character limit and non-intrusive ads. The PRO version of the app has no character limit and comes with no ads. After typing the text, the user can check it for spelling by clicking on the link on the right side. Once the text is edited, the user has options to send the selection via other applications such as instant messenger or e-mail client, or to copy it and paste it into other applications. Additionally, the app offers support for 15 languages. During our testing, all of the features worked fine.

Spell Checker for Android offers a basic yet fully-functional tool for users who need a spell checker on the go or who are not native speakers of one of the supported languages.
