Review: Benji Bananas turns users into the king of the jungle

Swing from trees and monkey around in banana-collecting game, Benji Bananas.

Benji Bananas has a cute mascot, addictive gameplay, and a physics engine that is easy to figure out but difficult to master. Sounds like any other games you know? This game seems so tailor-made for superstardom that it's a wonder the app hasn't already soared to the top of the charts. It would definitely be worthy of its place if it did.

To rule the day in this app you need to swing from vine to vine, collecting bananas in a beautifully animated jungle. Timing your taps and holding your finger down changes the way your monkey flies through the air. Bananas also act as the game's currency; the more you collect, the more power-ups you can unlock. Surprisingly, Benji Bananas doesn't make you play dozens of games to earn new powers. You'll probably still play plenty of rounds thanks to the game's addictive gameplay and never-ending levels, though. The game makes you complete a bevy of challenges to increase the game's replay value, too. As with most games like it, you can buy your way through some of the more challenging levels if you need to.

The game seems to do everything right without any hiccups. Benji Bananas is one of the most polished games you can find on the Google Play store. Download it now if you like physics games that go on for days. Just don't be surprised if you find yourself stuck playing the game for hours.
