As its name suggests, Muzy: Photo Editors, Collages, and more is a one stop shop for taking your standard old digital photos and transforming them into something new. Even better, it then lets you share your creations with your friends. A smart, intuitive design helps Mozy make it incredibly easy to display your photos in unique and aesthetically pleasing productions.
Upon launching Muzy, the app cuts to the chase and tells you how to start. You're greeted with a long menu of photo-editing options, including: Collage, Photobox, Photo Editor, Camera, Thoughts, and Photobrush. (You can add more options if those aren't enough for you.)\
I started with the Collage feature, which gave me the option of taking a new photo or pulling pictures from our phone's Camera Roll. I chose the latter and was able to lay out several pictures by selecting them and moving them around the screen. I was also able to easily add text and change the background color.
Once my collage was complete, I was able to post it to Facebook, which also saves it on my Camera Roll. Unfortunately, however, the picture that I shared on Facebook requires anyone interested in viewing it to sign up for Muzy. It's understandable that Muzy is a photo-sharing community and wants to attract new users, but it would have been nice to have the option of saving photo creations to my Camera Roll first to share the picture without any sign-up requirements.
Muzy's other offerings were similarly easy to navigate, letting us create photo boxes and add effects to our pictures. Muzy's numerous editing functions and easy navigation make it a worthwhile app to have on hand. It's highly recommended to scrapbookers and collage makers.
