Dead Trigger 1.1.1 Review

Shoot your way through crowds of the undead in this action-packed, first-person zombie shooter.

With great graphics and exciting gameplay, this game seems to be one of the most popular action games on the Google Play store. Dead Trigger combines a first-person shooter with social media and strategy gaming. It offers a fully immersive environment with high levels of action.

The first thing we noticed when installing Dead Trigger is the size of the application. The size will vary depending on the device, but since we tested it on a Samsung Galaxy Nexus our file was over 120MB. With a file of that magnitude the device should be plugged into the wall and connected to a good Wi-Fi signal. Any interruptions in the download will cause it to abort and start over. When the download finished, it took a couple of minutes to install the app. The game begins with a short cinematic video describing the backstory. The general idea of the game is to eliminate as many zombies as possible through a first-person shooting platform. The main menu features a map in which users may select missions or purchase weapons. Virtual currency is earned through completed missions and is awarded according to the skill of the shooter. The graphics in this game are amazing. They are smooth and flow as seamlessly as if the game were being played on a console. The characters featured in the game are very realistic, too, and so is the gory violence. Overall, the gameplay is fantastic. It is action-packed and even nerve-racking at times.

While Dead Trigger is an amazing game, parents may not want their younger children playing it. It has a lot of interactive, animated violence and realistic gore. The game will push your mobile device to its limits, too. It uses a lot of CPU power and consumes quite a bit of memory. Nevertheless, if you are craving a challenging game, this one is a great pick.
