Make Your Twin falls flat

Don't bother with this faulty app.

We get that some apps exist purely for good, silly fun and nothing more. Make Your Twin sounds like it would fall under that category since it claims to "make your twin" by switching the faces of two or more people in the same picture. However, when we put it to the test, it failed to work.

Make Your Twin's main menu offers a Help feature, which explains how to use the app. First, you're supposed to take a picture in good lighting, and the faces shouldn't be covered or at an angle. Once you snap your picture or select one from your Camera Roll, tapping on the Make Your Twin button is supposed to switch the faces. From there, you can zoom in and out to adjust the faces. Or at least that's what the directions say. We snapped a picture with our camera in bright light, both of us facing the camera directly. But when we tapped the Make Your Twin button, nothing happened. So we tried it again. And again. Nothing happened. We tapped the Done button to see if that would give us more options. We were offered features for adding effects to our picture, but nothing to switch our faces as the app promises. We got out of the app and tried to start from scratch, but when we tried to add a picture, a pop-up told us that we would have to purchase the app to proceed. We declined.

Make Your Twin failed to impress and isn't worth your time. We do not recommend it.
