Our favorites games tend to be the simple, mindless ones because we typically play them while trying to kill time. Icy Tower 2 certainly falls under that category. Its simple gameplay will keep you entertained for hours.
We did notice that Icy Tower 2 took about 30 seconds to load. An instructional intro walks you through the game's controls. For example, tilting the phone to the left and right moves the character; tilting it a bit more makes him jump higher. The object of the game is to jump higher and higher on platforms to reach the top of the tower. That's it. As you jump, you can collect coins to pick up more points. The cute little character jumps continuously, so all you have to do is tilt the phone so that he can reach the right platform. As you jump, you're reminded that the tower is crumbling, so it's imperative that you reach the top as quickly as possible. There is a pause button in case you need to stop in the middle of a game. We couldn't locate a mute button for the music, which would have been a helpful for those times when you have to wait in, say, the dentist's office.
If you're looking for an easy but entertaining game for yourself or your family, you can't go wrong with Icy Tower 2. We recommend it for all users.
